A very busy Sunday afternoon, the car park was full, and the overflow being used. However there was still plenty of parking. Helpful volunteers directing you to to nearest space.
Then a walk to main arrival building, and check in as a member, in this area there was a decent shop and some helpful volunteers who point out the various walks that you can take and give you a map of the fen.
Off we go around the shortest of the walks plenty to see and hear as you go.
After an hour or so back to the cafe for a coffee, they were short of food options (especially Gluten Free) but it was a busy day, and they still had some options for allergy sufferers
This is a really good option do a Sunday walk

Very quiet and able to hear animals moving on the ground.
Many birds around. Loads of fish in the ditches.
Visitor centre and shop. Cafe available near the entrance.
Great for families and well worth a visit.

Beautiful sign.
I think is okey to pay to have a look inside the park. But general is good location to walk at weekend.

Small National trust site, with wooden paths, which are excellent in wet weather to avoid mud, yet still walk around
there is a little kids playground and bird watching huts, and a small educational space at the entrance where you can learn a bit about the fen and animals there
Sometimes they give a boat tour, but it is very weather dependent

Lovely experience walking with the family. The people working in the shop and cafe were so kind too! You can walk on a board without getting too muddy. We had a great day here.

Nice place to visit for a few hours. The boardwalk gives a nice safe dry place to walk. However, many of the trails were closed due to being waterlogged. We did visit after it been raining a lot. I know we didn't take any, it looks a great place to take children to carry out exploration of the natural world. The cafe was good, we had scones which were extremely nice having a little herbie taste to them. We must go back more often.

Extremely rude and uptight woman in reception/shop. Very unhelpful - when we arrived at 4.40pm she said ‘we’re closed’ - I mentioned that google info said it closes 5pm she just said coldly ‘well we’re not google are we’. Unacceptable, she shouldn’t be working there.

Lovely food. Staff are friendly and welcoming, they offered my son some binoculars to watch birds from the hide, which made his day.
